Title: Glazed Lemon Squares

Yield: 4 Dozen

BOTTOM CRUST
1cSifted all purpose flour
1/4cPowdered sugar
1/8tsSalt
1/2cButter
SECOND LAYER
1cWhite sugar
2tbAll purpose flour
1/2tsBaking powder
1/8tsSalt
1 Eggs,slightly beaten
1tbLemon juice
1tsLemon rind
LEMON GLAZE
1/2cPowdered sugar
1tbLemon juice
1tbMelted butter

For Crust Combine one cup flour powdered sugar and salt in mixing bowl. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Press into greased 8 x 8 x 2 inch pan. Bake at 325 preheated oven for 15 minutes.

For the second layer: Mix remaining ingredients, spread over baked layer. Return to oven and bake in 325 degree oven about 25 minutes. Cool; make lemon glaze.

To make the lemon glaze, blend all ingredients until smooth. Frost; cut into squares.
